I find content creation a chore. Is outsourcing the editing worth it?
Yes, if content feels like a chore, outsourcing the editing is one of the quickest ways to get your time back. There's no prize for doing everything yourself. I edit and schedule your posts for you, so you can spend that energy on the parts of your business that light you up.
How do I send my raw footage to you?
Upload your raw footage to your Google Drive and share it with me. I'll download it from there and start on your edits.
How long does it take to get my videos back?
3-5 business days.
How many rounds of changes do I get?
One round of revisions per video.
Can I work with a video editor without having calls?
Yes, I work fully async, so you never need to have a call with me. We communicate through email and chat in your client dashboard.
Can you handle the scheduling so I don't have to think about it?
Yes, scheduling is included in every package, not an add-on. Your content goes out on time and on the right platforms, without you having to think about it.

Consistency And Energy
I have loads of ideas but never finish my content. Can you help?
Yes, finishing is exactly what I take off your plate. Send me your messy voice notes, rambly videos and half-formed ideas, and I'll turn them into polished, scroll-stopping content.
I spend too long perfecting my videos. Can I just send you the raw footage?
Yes, send me your raw footage and let it go. I'll turn it into polished, scroll-stopping content, so you don't have to agonise over whether it's good enough.
I can't post on a strict schedule. Does that matter?
No, it doesn't matter at all. Once you've sent me your footage, I handle the editing and scheduling, so your content goes out regularly without you needing to stick to a schedule.
Do I have to batch record content to work with you?
No, you don't need to batch record. I use a method called 'catch don't batch': you capture ideas and film whenever inspiration or energy strikes, then send me whatever you've got, and I turn it into polished content for your channels.
What happens if I'm unwell or run out of energy for a few weeks?
Your content can keep going while you rest. I can recycle and repurpose content you've already posted, or turn a quick voice note into a B-roll video with voiceover, so you don't have to be on camera or presentable. All I ask is that you keep in touch with me during these periods.
What happens if I don't send you any footage one month?
Your package carries on as normal: your monthly fee holds your place in my schedule, so nothing changes on your side. It happens, and that's completely okay. I'll check in with you async during the month to see if you have any content for me.
How can I stay consistent with content if I have ADHD?
You don't need to film consistently for your content to go out consistently. If you only record once in a blue moon, save it all in your Google Drive and send it over. One hyperfocus burst where you film 10 videos can keep your content going for the whole month.

Yes, I'm Leah Bourne, a neurodivergent video editor who works with neurodivergent business owners. Because I'm ND too, I've built my business around working to our strengths and supporting the parts that drain us.
What makes your service neurodivergent-friendly?
My service is fully async, so you never need to have a call with me unless you want one. If you're up at 2 am because your ADHD has just handed you a fantastic idea, send me an email or a message in your dashboard whenever suits you.
Can you work around my energy levels and schedule?
Yes, because everything is async, your schedule never has to match mine. You send me what you have, when you have it, and I work with that. I work when it's best for me (sometimes the middle of the night), and you work when it's best for you.
Confidence And Camera
Do I need to be good on camera to post videos?
No, you don't need to be good on camera or have fancy kit. You can film on the phone you already have, and I'll handle the rest in the edit.
What if my footage is messy, rambly or full of mistakes?
That's not a problem at all. I'm used to messy, jumbled, mistake-ridden takes, and finding the gold in the edit is what excites me.
I hate seeing myself on camera. Will you make me look awkward?
No, I won't make you look any way you don't want to. My editing doesn't strip away your personality; it enhances and complements it.
I get bored of my own content. Will that show in the edits?
Only if you look bored on camera. If the boredom kicks in after the ideas and filming, it won't show, because I take the editing and scheduling off your plate.
What I Do and Don't Do
What's the difference between a video editor and a social media manager?
A video editor makes your content look good; a social media manager runs your accounts day-to-day. I don't touch the strategy side of social media. The only overlap is that I schedule your posts, but I don't reply to comments or engage with your community.
Do you help with content ideas or strategy?
No, I don't offer content strategy or come up with ideas for you. I focus on the edit: you bring the ideas and footage, and I make them look great.
Do you add captions and subtitles?
Yes, on-screen captions are standard on all short-form videos. For YouTube, I can also export a separate SRT subtitle file.
Do you design YouTube thumbnails?
No, YouTube thumbnail design isn't a service I offer.
Which platforms do you edit for?
I edit for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and YouTube Shorts.
