I have been working with Leighanne at ProjectYou Academy since September 2024. She was my first client, which means she basically launched this business with me. We have delivered well over 100 videos together since then, and I am still her editor now.
Leighanne is exactly the kind of client I do my best work for. She had the expertise, the footage, and the ideas. She was just doing it all herself, which meant inconsistent posting, basic edits without scroll-stopping hooks, and hours spent wrestling with content instead of focusing on her actual business.

Short-form Content
Leighanne films short-form content specifically for Instagram Reels and TikTok. I edit, add story-driven hooks and captions, format for each platform, and deliver clips that are ready to post. She went from inconsistent posting to a consistent schedule with no extra filming time.
Repurposing: The Talk That Popped Off
Leighanne gave a talk that I edited down into short-form sound bites with hooks and captions. Instagram flagged it as having "one of your best hooks" because more non-followers than usual were viewing past the first 3 seconds. It reached 626 views, with 66.8% coming from non-followers, and racked up 1 hour 40 minutes of total watch time. The content was already there. It just needed the right edit.
Long-form Story Edit: A Week in the Life
Leighanne wanted to test a behind-the-scenes vlog format. I took raw clips filmed across a week and turned them into a structured, story-driven narrative. The format proved too time-consuming for her to maintain (ADHD + remembering to film daily is hard), but it showed me how much I enjoy building longer narratives from scattered footage.
